‘I forgive him’ says mosque elder stabbed while giving call to prayer

A prayer leader stabbed at the mosque where he works says he has forgiven his attacker.

Raafat Maglad, who is in his 70s, was knifed in the neck inside London Central Mosque in Regent’s Park on Thursday afternoon.

Worshippers tackled the attacker and held him down until police arrived. A 29-year-old man is being held on suspicion of attempted...
