A health minister tells Sky News that it is "not the right moment" to consider easing the UK's coronavirus lockdown.

A minister has played down the possibility of the coronavirus lockdown being relaxed or ending soon, telling Sky News: "We're not there yet."

Britons have been living under stringent restrictions on movement in the last few weeks in a bid to halt the spread of COVID-19, the disease caused by the coronavirus.

"We will be led by the scientific evidence of when is the right moment for the changes to be made," health minister Edward Argar told Kay Burley@Breakfast.
