#Do1Thing: Plans are in the pipeline for a water bottle refill station in Paisley

A new water bottle re-fill station could help reduce waste in Paisley town centre if plans are given the go-ahead.

Scottish Water has lodged a planning application with Renfrewshire Council to install the water point between the Town hall and the Abbey.

The company says the Top up Tap, which would be positioned near Gauze Street, would help reduce plastic waste and benefit the community.
