Exmouth New Year Event cancelled for second successive year - and this is why

It is the second successive year the town has suffered a blow after the last year’s event was cancelled due to concerns raised by town centre businesses.

For the second year running, a planned New Year’s Eve Party in the centre of Exmouth has been cancelled.

George Nightingale and Oliver Bainbridge, who run Spoken and The Grapevine, had hoped to run an event in The Strand, which could have seen more than 1,000 revellers see in the New Year.

But they announced this week...
