Golden oldie band raise £1000 to help Irvine church with costly boiler repair bill

Music group for the elderly ‘Second Time Around’ have donated a whopping £1000 to help an Irvine church with its costly boiler repair bill.

St Andrew’s Church has appealed to the many organisations who use its premises for help in a bid to raise funds to pay for the repairs – which has sadly resulted in the flock having to forego worshipping in the sanctuary some Sundays as it’s too cold.

One kind group selflessly stepped up to the challenge.
