Hull man's 'life taken away' because mobility scooter can't fit through new park gate

John Sudds, 76, uses Brackley Park to walk his dog but his entry has been blocked

A pensioner says he has been left devastated after changes to the entrance of his beloved park means his mobility scooter cannot get through the new gate.

John Sudds, 76, takes his beloved dog Ruby to Brackley Park, east Hull, several times a week and also uses it as a vital cut-through to access nearby shops.

However, he now faces a "dangerous" one-and-a-half mile diversion on main...
