The furnishings and clothing retailer updates the market after warning of last ditch financing talks on Monday.

Laura Ashley says it has agreed a deal to secure its immediate funding requirements - days after the retailer warned on its future.

The home furnishings-to-fashion chain said talks with its lender, US bank Wells Fargo, had concluded over the terms of a £20m loan.

"The group should be able to utilise requisite funds from its working capital facility with Wells Fargo to meet its immediate funding requirements," the company said in a statement to the City.
