More A82 roadworks to take place in Dumbarton area

Three weeks of roadworks are set to start on the A82 this week.

Scotland Transerv is carrying out works beginning tomorrow (Wednesday, June 13) on the Gruggie’s Burn Culvert close to Milton and Silverton.

The programme will deliver improvements to the culvert running under the trunk road, addressing potential issues with the integrity of the structure.

Roads bosses say if left, the culvert could collapse, leading to potential subsidence and flooding.
