A Paddy Power manager has received a bravery award for his actions during a beheading horror at a Handsworth shop.
Martin Grieve was at the Rookery Road store on January 4 last year when the shocking incident unfolded before his eyes.
He heard a disturbance and walked into the main shop area and saw a man attacking another man.
Mr Grieve attempted to break up the fight by physically intervening, the men fell into the road and he then closed the door.
