Police launch online form to ‘snitch’ on people flouting lockdown

A police force is facing criticism after they launched an online form for people to ‘snitch’ on those breaching coronavirus restrictions.

Cambridgeshire Police tweeted: ‘We have now developed an online form allowing you to report individuals breaching Covid-19 restrictions via our website. Please do not call 101 to report breaches.’

They linked to a webpage where people can give details about a person or organisation ignoring the new rules.
