PRINCES AND PRINCESSES are images which are mainly reserved for fairy tales in the eyes of children. But how is one princess using fairy tales as the basis to break royal rules and customs?

The traditional fairy tale tells of a prince and princess falling in love, overcoming obstacles and ending up happily ever after. Princess Märtha Louise of Norway knows this more than most, using them more helping her to carve out her own life. She is fourth in line for the Norwegian throne, but despite that, she is accustomed to breaking the traditional moulds and sculpting her own path.
