The smallest school in England will be closing its doors this week because one of its two pupils is heading off to secondary school.
Bleasdale Church of England Primary had just one child in year four and another in year six the past academic year.
The 180-year-old school can accommodate up to 60 students, but Council officials have now decided it’s no longer financially viable to stay open.
