SPFL face Celtic title D-Day as £1billion Premier League bill could bounce bosses into going it alone

SPFL bosses could be bounced into going it alone and declaring the Scottish football season is over - because England’s biggest clubs are running scared from a catastrophic £1 billion coronavirus cancellation bill.

Record Sport revealed in March how the game’s authorities across the UK had opened crisis talks to thrash out a coordinated and unified response to the emergency lockdown which has brought football to a standstill.
