Up to 60mm of rain could fall over higher ground in South Wales, some parts of which were flooded during a storm last weekend.

Stormy weather looks likely to bring further misery to already sodden communities for the third weekend in a row.

Heavy showers have brought new flooding plus warnings of more to come after swathes of South Wales and northern and central England were hit by Storm Ciara and Storm Dennis.

More belts of heavy rain were due on Saturday night and again on Sunday night, according to the Met Office, accompanied by warnings of high winds and snow in Scotland.
