Teenager gets apology after council paints over his ‘fromage not Farage’ sign

A council have apologised for covering up a teenager’s anti-Brexit graffiti and even sent him five litres of new paint so he could carrying on.

Stan Jones, 16, had spent over two years writing slogans such as ‘No deal is the worst deal’ and ‘Fromage not Farage’ on his parents’ shed.

But four months ago the family realised some of the messages had been painted over, despite being on their private land.
