Police hunt gang of four men who tried to rob jewellery from couple at hotel

A MAN and a woman suffered minor injuries as thieves attempted to steal jewellery from them at a South Lakeland hotel yesterday.

Police are now appealing for information in relation to the incident, which occurred at the Gilpin Bridge Inn off the A590 at approximately 8pm.
