Thieves steal horsebox from field off A6

THIEVES cut through a lock on a field's gate next to the A6 near Beetham and stole a Ifor Williams 505 horsebox.

The horsebox, which is maroon with a white roof, was taken between 7pm on Monday (August 13) and 8am on Tuesday (August 14).

Girl sexually assaulted in Grange Tesco

A GIRL was sexualy assaulted by a shopper in Tesco Express on Kents Bank Road in Grange on Saturday.

Police are concerned for the welfare of a missing 13-year-old,  Phoebe Seeds from Kendal.

Phoebe was reported as missing yesterday evening (13/08/2018) and was last seen at around 10:30pm near to Thirlmere Road, Kendal.
