FIRE crews have been called to a small garden fire and a building fire believed to have been started deliberately.

Firefighters were first called at 4.50pm on Saturday to the former youth centre on Mirion Street.

Average Cheshire East house prices rise to £222,163

HOUSE prices in Cheshire East increased by 1.9% in May, contributing to a 4.8% rise over the last 12 months.

The latest data from the Office of National Statistics shows that the average property in the area sold for £222,163 - slightly under the UK average of £226,351.
