Emergency beds are being prepared so Reading's rough sleepers do not have to endure freezing overnight temperatures this winter.

People in Reading are spending all of their old £1 coins as they won't be much use next week.

From Monday, October 16 businesses across the country will stop accepting the round pounds.

They will no longer be accepted as legal tender and replaced by the new 12-sided
