Thriving March Bears ready for new rugby season

No-one knows yet when the new rugby season will start, but players of all ages are ready and raring to go at March Bears.

The club has introduced a second XV and a Colts side for the new season alongside the many junior teams at the Elm Road Sports Field.

The annual race had been cancelled due to the C-19 pandemic but a challenge was thrown out to March AC by their local friendly rivals

Two new members have boosted the numbers on Sutton St Edmund Parish Council so that it is "almost at full strength".

Gary Masters and Jason Wardill were both co-opted, or accepted, as members during the council's first-ever virtual meeting on Wednesday.
