Ofcom considers stripping Russia Today of its licence over spy poisoning

Ofcom has warned Russia Today it could lose its licence if Moscow was behind the poisoning of former spy Sergei Skripal.

The broadcasting regulator said it had written to ANO TV Novosti to explain that if the Government finds there was unlawful use of force by the Russian state against the UK, it would consider this relevant to the ‘fit and proper’ test.
