Isaac Newton wasn't just one of the greatest scientists of all time and a fan of apples. He also revolutionised our money.

He was appointed Warden of the Royal Mint in the spring of 1696, and Master of the Mint three years later. He held the role for more than 20 years, interviewing criminals, making coins better, harder to forge and experimenting on them to test their purity.

So, as a celebration of the 375th anniversary of his birth the Royal Mint produced special anniversary...
