Tory MP apologises after ignoring lockdown rules to attend barbecue

A Tory MP has apologised for appearing to defy lockdown rules by attending a barbecue with journalists.

Bob Seely, who represents the Isle of Wight, admitted attending a gathering hosted by Freddy Gray, deputy editor of The Spectator magazine, in the village of Seaview on the island a fortnight ago.
